This Privacy Policy explains how Tomecore, a service operated by FRST Media Europe B.V. (KvK 80008798), collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use our website and subscription service. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect
- Mobile phone number — required to activate your subscription and to process SMS carrier billing. This is the only identifying detail we ask for.
- Billing records — the amount charged, the date, and the renewal history of your subscription.
- Usage data — which titles you stream or download and how long a session lasts, used to improve the catalogue.
- Device information — device type, browser and operating system, used for playback compatibility and analytics.

We do not ask for and do not store your name, home address, email address or any payment card details.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and manage your subscription and your access to the catalogue.
- To process SMS carrier billing and to action cancellation requests.
- To improve the catalogue and the features of the Service.
- To send service-related messages such as the welcome SMS, billing notices and renewal information.
- To comply with our legal and accounting obligations.
We do not use your data for unsolicited direct marketing without your prior consent.
Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data under the General Data Protection Regulation on the following bases: (i) performance of the subscription contract between you and us; (ii) our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Service; (iii) compliance with legal obligations; and (iv) your consent, where applicable.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:
- Mobile network operators — to process SMS charging from short codes 19001 and 19000 and to bill your mobile account.
- Our technical partner — Bookworld, a Media Pay Plus brand, who delivers the audiobook and e-book catalogue on our behalf under a data processing agreement.
- Service providers — hosting, analytics and customer support providers acting on our instructions.
- Regulatory authorities — where we are required to do so by law.
Data Retention
We keep your personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Service and to meet our legal obligations. Billing records are retained for a minimum of seven years under Dutch accounting rules. Usage and analytics data is anonymised or deleted within 24 months.
Your Rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to request portability of your data. To exercise any of these rights, email info@tomecore.com with your mobile number. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children
The Service is intended for people aged 18 and over, or those with the permission of the mobile bill payer. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has subscribed, contact us and we will cancel the subscription and remove the data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
